Project Status & Technical Approach
Bitcoin lacks native smart contract support like Stellar’s Soroban, so the Zion PK Bridge leverages Layer 2 solutions — Lightning Network, Ark, or BitVM — combined with threshold signatures and secp256r1-compatible wrappers (BIP-322 / FROST) to deliver a true passkey experience. A testnet prototype is live on GitHub.
Approach: WebAuthn credential generation → FROST threshold key derivation → Bitcoin signing
L2 targets: Lightning Network, Ark, Stacks sidechain
